Diplomats

We need more diplomats: people who listen not only at words but also behind words—people who inch people closer together instead of opinioning them apart. Sure diplomacy takes long and can lead to stalemates. Still, quick, self-serving hyper-individualism takes us down the path of shallow, walled-off moaning and opinionating without any hope of loving those who are different.
